Why are VAs so expensive?

At first, a VA's rates may seem high but bear in mind that working with a VA isn't the same as having an employee - a VA will provide you with the benefits of a professional assistant, with none of the overheads of an on-site employee such as training, holiday pay, sick pay, and pension contributionsYou also don’t need to worry about the upkeep and maintenance of any equipment or software used, and you only pay a VA for the actual hours worked. I track my time using Toggl and can generate a report, as needed.

What can I outsource to a VA?

The best tasks to outsource are those that will save you the most time (particularly recurring tasks that need to be completed on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule) or those you dislike (or don't feel confident) doing and tend to put off! Although every VA will have a different skill set most of us actually enjoy admin - and are rather good at it!

What about data protection?

All data is backed up and I take data protection very seriously. Halo Virtual Assistance is registered in the United Kingdom under ICO registration number ZA805064.

What about insurance?

I have professional indemnity and cyber security insurance with Policy Bee and can show you the policy certificates, on request.

How do we get started?

Email me at sarah@halo.london or message me on social media to book a free, no-obligation discovery session. This will last up to 30 minutes and can take place on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, or on the phone, as you prefer. This session will allow me to get to know you and your business, allow you to ask any questions you have and enable us to discuss how I can best support you.

What if I need a service not listed on your site?

My Services Page lists just some of the services I offer. If you need something that isn't listed, then let me know your requirements. I'm a fast learner and can easily pick up new systems but if I'm not able to help, I can probably recommend another VA.

What if I need extra hours?

I will never exceed our agreed hours without checking with you first but I'm happy to do so if needed (as long as I have availability). Any additional time will be billed at the agreed hourly rate in 15-minute increments.

Isn't it difficult to get set up?

Getting started can be the trickiest part of the process, so a discovery session is vital to discuss your requirements and ensure we are a good fit. If we decide to proceed, I will then send you all the necessary paperwork. Once signed, we will have an onboarding meeting to discuss your admin needs in more detail.
