Why are VAs so expensive?

At first, a VA's rates may seem high but bear in mind that having a VA isn't the same as having an employee - a VA will provide you with the benefits of a professional admin assistant, with none of the overheads of an on-site employee such as training, holiday pay, sick pay, tax, pension, and national insurance contributions. You don’t need to worry about the upkeep and maintenance of any equipment or software used, and you only pay a VA for the actual hours worked. Time is tracked using Toggl and I can generate a report, as needed.

What can I outsource to a VA?

The best tasks to outsource are those which will save you the most time (particularly recurring tasks which need to be completed on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule) or those tasks you dislike (or don't feel confident) doing and tend to put off! Although every VA will have a different skillset most of us actually enjoy admin - and are rather good at it!

What about data protection?

All data is backed up and I take data protection very seriously. Halo Virtual Assistance is registered in the United Kingdom under ICO registration number ZA805064.

What about insurance?

I have professional indemnity insurance with Policy Bee and can show you the policy, on request.

How do we get started?

Email me at sarah@halo.london or message me on social media to book a free, no-obligation discovery session. This will last up to 30 minutes and can take place on Zoom, Google Meet or Teams, or on the phone, as you prefer. This session will allow me to get to know you and your business, allow you to ask any questions you have and enable us to discuss how I can best support you.

What if I need a service not listed on your site?

My Services Page lists just some of the services I offer.  If you need something that isn't listed, then let me know your requirements.  I'm a fast learner and can easily pick up new systems but if it's not a service I can offer it's likely that I can put you in touch with someone who can.

07/

What if I need you to work more hours than agreed?

I will never exceed our agreed hours without checking with you first but I'm happy to do so if needed (as long as I have the availability)! Any additional time will be billed at the agreed hourly rate in 15 minute increments.

Isn't it difficult to get set up?

Getting started can often be the trickiest part of the process and this is why a discovery session is vital! It allows us to discuss your requirements and expectations and make sure we are a good fit. If we decide to go ahead, I will then send you all the necessary paperwork. Once signed, we will then set up an onboarding meeting to discuss your requirements in more detail. Communication between us will be especially important in the early days but the more I get to know you and your business, the more I'll be able to help.
